Known for the saying, “He who has never been to the Great Wall is not a true man,” the site attracts growing numbers of globetrotters eager to experience the iconic landmark.

To enhance the experience, the scenic area has rolled out a series of international travel-friendly services. Ticket counters now support cash, mobile payments and international card transactions via point-of-sale machines. A mobile ticketing platform allows foreigners to purchase tickets using passports or permanent residence permits. It has also strengthened its multilingual environment, offering standardized bilingual signage for emergencies, navigation and safety, ensuring smooth visits for non-Chinese speakers.
