Elden Ring Shadow Of the Erdtree Preorders Discounted For PC

Elden Ring’s highly anticipated Shadow of the Erdtree expansion is almost here. The DLC’s official release date is Friday, June 21, but those who buy digital editions will be able to start playing the evening of June 20. In North America, PC players will be able to dive in on Steam first at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET. If you haven’t preordered your copy yet, Fanatical has deals on Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Steam keys.

After placing your order at Fanatical, a Steam key will be added to your account on launch day. Keys will be delivered on June 20, so you should be able to start playing immediately next Thursday. There are four different purchasing options for Shadow of the Erdtree.

If you already have the base game and simply want the expansion, you can preorder the standard edition for $35.19 (was $40). Your preorder comes bundled with the Ring of Miquella in-game gesture. For $44 (was $50), you can grab the Premium Bundle, which includes a digital art book and soundtrack.

If Shadow of the Erdtree’s looming arrival has encouraged you to play Elden Ring for the first time, there are two bundle options. You can save about $10 on the bundle that includes the original game and expansion; alternatively, you can save $12 on a bundle that also throws in digital soundtracks and art books for the base game and expansion.

It’s important to note that you not only need a copy of the base game to play Shadow of the Erdtree, but you must complete certain objectives in the base game before the expansion opens up.

For an in-depth look at the upcoming expansion, check out our Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree preview. And if you’re still working your way through the base game, it’s worth mentioning Elden Ring has not one, but two official strategy guides: The Lands Between and Shards of the Shattering.
