About the Organiser

IFIM Law School, Bangalore affiliated with the Karnataka State Law University (KSLU), Hubbali is one of the premier legal institutions in India. The Law School was established in the year 2014 and is a sister concern of the IFIM Group of Institutions. IFIM aims to impart quality legal education and offers BBA LL.B. (5 Years) and LL. B (3 Years).

The Law School also aims to provide overall development of the students through the Social Immersion Programme (SIP), Industry Internship Programmes (IIP), Research Incubation Program (RI) and Personality Enhancement Programme (PEP). IFIM Law School has been ranked 1st in the Category of Top Eminent Law School, 5th rank in the Southern region and 4th rank in the State of Karnataka in the GHRDC Survey 2023.

About the Event

The Research Colloquium is an annual event organized by IFIM Law School, Bangalore and “Virtual Research Colloquium – 2024” shall be the third edition of the event. The theme for this Colloquium is “Corporate Governance in Healthcare”.

Through this Colloquium and review process, the ten best papers will be selected for the IFIM Law Review – a biannual Law Review, which is published by the Eastern Book Company (EBC). The Research Committee of the IFIM Law School is organising the Colloquium. The organisers invite scholarly contributions from academicians, legal practitioners, and research scholars on the above mentioned theme.

  • Mode: Online
  • Expected Participants: Academicians, Legal Professionals and Research Scholars.
  • Authorship: A research paper can have a maximum of two authors.
  • Rules of Citation and Footnoting: All submissions must follow the Bluebook, 21st edition.

Submission Guidelines

  • All the submissions should be in the word format.
  • The maximum word limit for extended abstracts is 2500.
  • Rules of Citation and Footnoting: All submissions must follow the Bluebook, 21st edition.
  • The extended abstract must be sent along with the following details of all the authors:
    • Full Name
    • Name of the Institution of Affiliation
    • Designation (whether academician, research scholar or legal practitioner)
    • Mobile number (of all authors)
    • Email Address (of all authors)

Fee

  • ₹1000 per author – Academicians/Legal Professionals
  • ₹750 per author – Ph.D Scholars
  • ₹500 Participants (those who want to participate in the Research Colloquium on 20th March 2024, without paper presentation; shall send a mail to [email protected])
  • Payment and registration details shall be shared with the authors of the selected papers.

  • Date of the Colloquium- March 20, 2024 (Wednesday)
  • Last Date for Submission of Extended Abstracts (2,500 words)- March 15, 2024 (Friday)
  • Intimation on acceptance of the paper for presentation in the Colloquium- March 17, 2024 (Sunday).
  • Last date for Registration: March 18, 2024 (Monday)
