About the International Short Story Contest
The Insolvency Law Academy (ILA) has launched the 4th Edition of ILA International Short Story (Insolvency and Bankruptcy) Contest, under the aegis of Emerging Scholars Group (ESG).
Since its inception, this innovative contest has uniquely blended the power of storytelling with insolvency law, creating a vibrant platform where legal concepts meet creative expression. Over three successful editions, it has attracted a diverse group of writers and readers, establishing a distinctive presence in both the literary and legal communities.
This year’s contest invites original short stories on the theme “Corporate Insolvency and Climate Change.” By harnessing the emotive and memorable nature of literature, the contest aims to raise awareness about insolvency law’s role in addressing environmental challenges.
Stories submitted will also help ILA-ESG research social perceptions and stigmas that sometimes impede the effective use of insolvency frameworks.
