The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) on Thursday announced the inclusion of the Xixia Imperial Tombs, located in northwest China’s Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, on its World Heritage List. With this addition, the total number of World Heritage sites in China has reached 60.
