The vast area of the Honghe Hani Rice Terraces sparkled in sunlight, unveiling the charm of a natural landscape in Yuanyang County, Yunnan Province. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the terraces have a long history spanning around 1,200 years. The terraces feature outstanding resilient construction, unique irrigation and social-ecological systems and have added both historical and cultural value to the local community.
