First-Day Formalities, Infrastructure, First Impression
Before my orientation with the IPR team, I was greeted by Ms. Shweta Vaishnav (HR), who cordially provided me with a thorough rundown of my roles and responsibilities. The firm included a wide range of amenities and first-rate resources, such as an exclusive workplace with an array of extensive legal texts, all of which were intended to promote a comprehensive learning environment.
There was complete clarity in the answers to all of my questions and doubts. The firm’s initial impression was acceptable, and the team members were personable and kind.
Main Tasks
- Examining case records and doing in-depth legal analysis in compliance with relevant provisions to improve understanding of legal procedures creating succinct summaries and understanding complex procedural nuances.
- Examining and comprehending notifications
Work Environment
Strong, consistently displayed work ethic and a proactive approach to assignments were the most absorbing aspects of the internship. In my perspective, the most important skills that Adv. Rooppreet Dhamija Ma’am and Adv. Hemant Thadani Sir has taught me how to handle deadlines and make the best out of a gunpoint situation. The calibre of the work was just as important as the quantity.
Good Things
As long as you meet the deadlines, the workplace is extremely cordial and collaborative. It is required of interns to gain knowledge and maximize the amount of time assigned to tasks. But if you ponder your tenure and task management style, you will see that you have grown. We are required to report to our separate heads at the end of the day and give them a summary of the entire day.
Bad Things
Considering the mentorship, nature, and enhanced attitude, I did not find anything bad about the internship. It contains all the traits that help people effectively and actively engage in valuable discussions. In the initial days, one can feel the grind but as days roll, you get a hang of things which have their takeaways.
