First-Day Formalities, Infrastructure, and First Impression
My first day in the office was quite confusing, as the work was challenging and overwhelming. It took me about four days to fully understand the tasks assigned to me. The office infrastructure is welcoming, with great motivational quotes displayed throughout.
Initially, I thought that my supervisor was strict and would raise his voice if any work went wrong, but I was wrong. He is actually a very open-hearted person who genuinely believes in teaching interns rather than overwhelming them with excessive work.
Main Tasks
My primary responsibility involves researching various topics or cases as assigned to me. Additionally, I handle basic-level paperwork. I greatly appreciate the support from my peers, seniors, and supervisor, who are always willing to assist if I encounter any challenges with my tasks.
Their guidance not only helps me navigate difficulties but also fosters a collaborative working environment that enhances my learning and growth in this role.
Work Environment
I find the work environment to be incredibly welcoming and supportive. The team encourages open communication, allowing me to ask questions and seek guidance without hesitation. This collaborative atmosphere fosters learning and growth, helping me gain valuable insights into the legal profession while building strong professional relationships.
Good Things about the Internship
One of the best aspects of this internship is the incredible sense of freedom and the unwavering support from the senior team members, which has truly made a difference in my experience. We are required to report at 10 PM, but the best part is that there is no fixed leaving time, allowing us to manage our work hours flexibly. Additionally, there are no harsh rules, creating a positive and relaxed atmosphere.
Bad Things about the Internship
So far, I haven’t faced any bad experiences. In the few days that have passed, all the experiences I’ve gained have been positive and warm, providing me with great exposure to knowledge.
Monthly Stipend
I don’t receive any monthly stipend as I don’t have any peer experience but besides this, the experience and knowledge that I am learning are more precious than money
Details about the Accommodation, Commuting to the Office
The office where I am currently working is around 10 km away from home and I typically take a rickshaw for my daily commute. This convenient transportation allows me to reach the office efficiently and on time.
Anything else you want to share?
One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned during this internship is gaining insight into the real experiences of individuals. Understanding their challenges and circumstances has deepened my appreciation for their resilience and highlighted the importance of addressing their needs effectively. This perspective is truly enlightening and inspiring.
